I didn't think it would ever be necessary to put this in my own journal but after being declined and/or removed from communities for this reason, I guess I have to.

My name is Amy, I'm 20 years old and I have no lj friends. This is a private journal, I choose to keep my life and my entries private and only write them for myself. I don't know why it's necessary for me to have friends to be a good addition to a community but I'm seeing this more and more. I don't, nor have I ever, felt comfortable exposing my feelings to people, especially people I don't know. I choose to keep my thoughts to myself, and don't think that should be held against me. I am not a troll, I don't find spamming posts with naked gramma pictures funny, and I've never been banned from a community. That should be all that matters, not how I choose to keep my journal.

This post will probably do nothing for me, and if I'm still declined, so be it. But I'm tired of being assumed as a bad person because I have no lj friends. In media related communities, I always say thank you when I take something and try to contribute as much as I can. I don't write in this very often since I have a full time job but I check the communities I'm a part of at least once every other day. So yeah, I promise I won't cause trouble. Let me into your communtiies now.....please?
